Motiongate's Halloween season is back for a ninth year. Fright Nights IX runs from October 7 to November 8, 2026 at MOTIONGATE Dubai, the Hollywood-themed park at Dubai Parks and Resorts, and its Halloween programme runs Wednesday to Sunday only.
What is on
The season brings six Halloween mazes, The Addams Family: The Musical Show and monster meet-and-greets, on top of the park's usual rides and coasters. The park's Halloween page does not name the mazes or list the show times.
Tickets
The Motiongate Halloween One Day Pass starts at AED 295, tax included. The Two Park Ticket, from AED 355, adds a second Dubai Parks and Resorts park on the same day. Age rules for the mazes sit in the ticket terms on the same page, and are worth reading before taking a child.
Which days
The mazes and the Halloween entertainment are dark on Mondays and Tuesdays. Halloween itself, Saturday, October 31, is a Fright Nights day, and the season's last night is Sunday, November 8.
From Palm Jebel Ali
Dubai Parks and Resorts is the nearest theme park to Palm Jebel Ali, about ten kilometres south of it. Palm Central faces the Jebel Ali and Expo City side of Dubai rather than Downtown, as its location makes plain, and an evening at Motiongate is one of the things that side of the city does well.
Go on a Wednesday or Thursday if you can. The programme is the same five nights a week, and the Halloween weekend is the one every family in the city will pick. Seen from Palm Jebel Ali, the trip is also the reverse of the usual Dubai commute: the big family parks are the near ones from this end of the city, and Downtown is the far one.
